Environmental sustainability is central to our work. We believe that protecting our natural environment is an act of service — to our communities today and to generations yet to come.

Sabujayan — Tree Plantation Initiative

Through our Sabujayan initiative (meaning "green life"), we organise tree plantation drives and environmental awareness programs in rural communities across West Bengal.

What began with a few saplings has grown into a community-led effort to restore green spaces and promote environmental responsibility. Volunteers, students, and community leaders come together to plant, nurture, and protect trees.

• School programs engaging young students in environmental stewardship
• Campaigns to reduce plastic use and promote clean surroundings

RC Jodhpur Gardens Calcutta planted 100 tree saplings across Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital, Ocean Shipyard & RCC Sisir Bagan, Thalia — with the effort to find a natural way to mitigate harmful effects of UV radiation which adversely impact eye health.
